Blue-and-white 'dragon' jar, Ming dynasty, Wanli period. The ovoid body is painted with two five-clawed dragons striding amidst stylized flames and scrolls and separated by two pearls, above a band of overlapping petals around the foot. The shoulder is decorated with a floral-pattern band below the silver-wrapped neck.
