A First Edition, First Printing of The New World, the second volume of the sweeping four-volume historical narrative, published by Cassell & Co. (London) in 1956. The volume features its publisher's dark cloth binding with gilt lettering. The title page or front free endpaper bears a signature reading 'Winston S. Churchill' in dark ink.
