A hardcover copy of Manual of Psychiatry, edited by Aaron J. Rosanoff, M.D. The volume is bound in the publisher's olive green textured cloth. On the title page, to the right of the text, there is a distinct and vertically-oriented ink mark reading "Prof. Sigm. Freud" executed in black fountain pen. The mark is bold and legible; the pages exhibit even age-toning typical of the era, and the binding shows minor shelf wear, consistent with a volume that may have resided in a working library.
Note: Sigmund Freud was the founding father of psychoanalysis.
